PENTA Communications, Inc. maintains a strong social commitment to the community and believes in the premise of Paying-it-Forward to make a difference – one person, one community at a time. The firm has raised and invested over $2.5 million over the years to help many non-profit organizations throughout Massachusetts through fundraising, grants, scholarship and pro-bono services. In the past decade, the firm, along with the assistance of many of its clients, has raised over $1 million to benefit children’s charities alone.

PENTA maintains a long-standing tradition and commitment to support and strengthen the communities in its region. We believe that when businesses reach out to meet the needs of the regions in which they do business whether through financial, in-kind, and human resource giving, those communities become better places to live and work. PENTA’s charitable mission is to continue its efforts to care for those communities, with a special emphasis on programs that support children and economic sustainability.

Priorities

Hope for Children

PENTA Communications, Inc. has been a generous contributor to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, funding over 100 wishes for children and raising over $700,000 to benefit the organization in Massachusetts alone. PENTA’s primary fundraising efforts are dedicated to the support of Make-A-Wish® through the PENTA Communications, Inc.Black Tie Dinner Gala and Auction which was established by our Founder and CEO in 2000.

Economic Literacy

PENTA Communications, Inc. supports programs that help school-age children understand and appreciate the dynamics of a free economic system. This is done primarily by contributing to economic literacy programs in area schools, donating the marketing talents of PENTA associates, and encouraging employees to volunteer.

Fostering Community Education

PENTA Communications, Inc. supports the local schools through community partnerships, sponsorships and scholarship programs. PENTA helps children in its community through the development and enhancement of workforce readiness. PENTA appreciates and recognizes that our youth and aspiring professionals have unique creative abilities and support programs that encourage those talents. The firm has supported events to recognize youth for their accomplishments in the form of essays, creative writing, art and various other related areas. PENTA also provides internships in the firm’s creative services department for high school and college students pursuing careers in design, graphic arts, web design, marketing or advertising.

Economic Sustainability

Our firm is committed to helping nonprofit organizations in our region committed to economic vitality maintain their sustainability for the strength of the business community. We have helped numerous organizations develop more progressive and sustainable marketing by providing sponsorship support, pro-bono services and the expertise of our leadership team. This helps their executive boards and management develop the marketing tools and resources needed to carry out their organizational mission with greater reach and fluency to their target audiences and memberships.

PENTA Communications, Inc. does not provide charitable contribution support to the following:

  • Individuals
  • Religious Organizations
  • Controversial Programs
  • For-profit Organizations
  • Organizations that are not in the scope of PENTA’s charitable mission

Guidelines on How to Apply
