PENTA Communications, Inc. honored with the President’s Award from the Corridor Nine Chamber of Commerce

WESTBOROUGH _ On Wednesday evening, May 14, 2008, PENTA Communications, Inc., was presented with the President’s Award from the Corridor Nine Chamber of Commerce during it’s Annual Dinner and Awards Celebration, as the organization rolled out the red carpet to honor several organizations for their exemplary contributions to one of Massachusetts’ fastest growing and most dynamic chambers.

With nearly 200 community leaders and representatives from the area’s companies in attendance at this event, the Corridor Nine announced its 2008-2009 Board of Directors and Executive Committee; and paid tribute to its most significant corporate contributors.

“Each year we are so fortunate to have the opportunity to choose one of our key members who time after time exceeds all of our expectations and we are fortunate to be able to honor that business with the President’s Award. This year I am proud to present the President’s Award to the PENTA Communications team,” said Corridor Nine President, Barbara Clifford.

“Just imagine what it can be like to have a state-of-the-art, cutting edge marketing firm- one of the premiere marketing companies in the Commonwealth- always ready, willing and able to enthusiastically work with you to plan, design and implement all your marketing needs- from direct marketing to newsletters to email blasts” she said, “I can tell you firsthand, it is one of the very best things that can happen to a chamber!”

“We are very fortunate to be one of the organizations that Penta supports through the talents and time of its extraordinary firm. When we have a challenge or need some creative ideas, someone from Penta always asks, “How can we help,”’ Clifford continued.

The Corridor Nine President’s Award honors companies that consistently raise the bar and provide unprecedented support to the organization.

“We are honored to receive this Award from the Corridor Nine Chamber of Commerce, and are proud to support the organization with its many ongoing initiatives,” said Deborah Penta, founder and president of PENTA Communications, Inc. “The Chamber plays a crucial role to the success of all businesses in our region, to the continued economic development and to the future of our community. We believe that it plays a significant role in the betterment of our region and are committed to continuing to help it through the talent and treasure of our organization.”

PENTA Communications, Inc. has been a supporter to the organization for years and has helped the Chamber through consistent high-level sponsorship support, in-kind services and the volunteer support of its employees that the firm allows to help the Chamber during normal business hours.

Ms. Penta was honored by the organization in the 2003 with the Chamber’s prestigious Eli Whitney Award. This Award is only given to an individual or organization when the Chamber feels they have a deserving recipient. Since the Chamber’s inception, Ms. Penta is only the fourth person to receive this honor.

“One of our core values as an organization is to give back to our community to strengthen it and help it prosper and I am very proud of our many Associates who participate in various committees on behalf of the Chamber and other organizations” Penta said.

“I applaud PENTA Communications for encouraging their employees to become involved in our organization by actively serving on C9 Committees, with Rhonda Engelking on our School Business Partnership Committee, Michelle Panagian on our Hype 9 Advisory Committee and Deborah Penta on our Marketing Committee and on our Board of Directors for the last three years. And, this year Deborah Penta will be continuing her leadership role as she becomes the chairperson-elect on our Executive Committee of the Board of Directors.” Clifford said.
