Karen Droogan is the Public Relations Manager and PR Services Team Leader at PENTA Communications, Inc. Karen has extensive media knowledge and works closely with PENTA's Management team and clients to develop winning public relations strategies.
An integral part of PENTA's PR Services team, Karen strategizes with firm leaders and clients to devise programs to meet specific objectives. From brand and community awareness plans to tackling crisis communication issues, Karen and her team of experts craft innovative public relations tactics that get results.
Nurturing relationships with editors, program directors and journalists, PENTA's team strives to remain on the pulse of what readership and listenership wants – so that the news PENTA helps clients bring to the media is relevant and important to them, and most importantly to their audiences.
When clients have a “story to tell,” PENTA's PR Services team makes sure the story is told and emphasizes the components that are most important to the public. This translates into effective and meaningful news coverage for clients that help them build awareness about their brand and their product and/or service brands.
Over the years, Karen has played a highly active role on the PENTA Community Relations Committee and is working on helping the firm with its annual Black Tie Dinner Gala and Auction to benefit Make-A-Wish. Karen is a member of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) Public Relations Team and is also a subcommittee member for the MRA Industry Event Committee. Additionally, she dedicates numerous hours as a volunteer and fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association. |
