Westborough added 710 jobs in 2016

During its annual year in review event, the Westborough Economic Development Committee detailed the community’s gains in the past year that include the addition of 710 jobs.

The annual meeting on Monday was attended by more than 160 business people, elected officials and municipal officials. At the meeting, the growth of Westborough in the last year was detailed. That includes 710 new jobs added since January, according to a release, as well as the retention of over 1,800 jobs in the town.
